League Play

As in previous years, our intention is to field B and C teams combined from both clubs to the Durham Region Competitive Tennis League, which starts in mid May.

B team

Sat, April 22nd from 10am to 1pm. Rain date will be April 29th, same time slot.

Captain is Tony Janevski and co-captain Laura LaTour

C team

Sun, April 23rd from 10am to 1pm. Rain date will be Sunday April 30th, same time slot.

Captain is Sebastian Dobre and co-captain is Andrea Panditharatne

Our house league is available for all members and is ideal for new members looking to meet some fellow tennis players and looking to improve their game. This is non-competitive but organized, doubles play.

This hope to be running on Tuesday evenings and the cost to join this league is only $10, payable at registration. This league takes place on the Amberlea courts on Tuesday evenings.

For more information, please contact Sue Peschke at

Amberlea/Maple Ridge will be putting in Durham B and C teams. These are competitive leagues and tryouts may be necessary depending upon the number of participants. Durham B plays on Monday evenings and Durham C plays on Wednesday evenings. Matches take place at the various courts around the Durham region and there are ladies doubles, mens doubles and mixed doubles matches. Payment for these leagues will be paid directly to the team captain. The fee is to solely cover balls and entry into the league. Because both Maple Ridge and Amberlea only have two courts each and these leagues require three courts at a time, home games are played indoors at the Pickering Recreation Complex. Away games are played at various clubs around Durham.

C team Meet and Greet (tryouts/registration) will be held at Maple Ridge Courts, Sunday April 19th, 1:30 to 3:00 pm (rain date Sunday April 26).

This league runs through-out the summer on Tuesday mornings and is a competitive league played at the various courts around the region. Payment for this league will be paid directly to the team captain and is solely to cover balls. Ladies that are B and C players would enjoy this league. While it is competitive, it is also very social and includes a late August end- of-season round robin and pot-luck lunch.
